Library Unveils New Long Range Plan

Beginning in January, the Library Board of Trustees, along with staff and community members, worked together to develop a new long range plan to guide the library in its next five years. Through various assessment activities the committee wrote new mission, vision and value statements and identified five core priorities. Implementing goals under those priorities will guide the library’s decisions during the next five years. The priorities identified are: community engagement, collaboration with the schools, facility improvement, technology, and organizational competencies.
