Summer Reading Program for Preschoolers

Our Read-To-Me summer program is a great way for preschoolers to be involved in Summer Reading fun! The program is for children not yet reading on their own.

How it works:
When the child has a library book read to them, they receive a credit toward their "goal."

Reading goal: Listening to 10 or more books. Children receive a sticker to place on a name tag given to them when they meet their first 10 book goal. Stickers are given throughout the summer. If your child achieves their goal, they are eligible to attend the special Read-to-Me Party for preschoolers and their parents.

Color Sheets: Color sheets are available for the children to give the librarian for every 10 books they listen to. The color sheets will create a memorable book parents can keep.

Let's Celebrate! On Saturday, July 30 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. join our special Read-To-Me Party for the children and parents.

Tumblebooksoffers talking picture books and counts toward your child's reading goal. Please visit the children's desk for more information about the Read-To-Me program.
