  • Book Valet, the Library’s curbside service, is available to all patrons with items on the hold shelf available for pick up.

    To use Book Valet, simply place items on hold from your online account. Once you receive a notice that your items are available, it’s time to schedule your Book Valet.

    When you arrive at the library during your appointment slot, pull into the “Book Valet” parking spot by the bike rack and call the Library to let us know you’ve arrived. A staff member will deliver your items right to your vehicle.

  • If you or someone you know has a physical condition that prevents you from coming to the library, we can provide delivery of items. Contact Amy to get started or call the library at (309)263-2200. This service is offered at no charge to Morton Library cardholders.

  • The Illinois Talking Book Outreach Center provides free library service to anyone unable to read regular print because of low vision, blindness, or a physical disability. They provide books and playback equipment, mailed free to and from library patrons, wherever they reside. There is no charge to the patron

  • The Talking Book and Braille Service supports the activities of the Illinois Network of Libraries Serving the Blind and Physically Handicapped, in providing excellent public library service to any Illinois resident who is unable to read standard print material due to a permanent or temporary visual or physical disability.

  • The library has an extensive collection of books in large print, including both fiction and non-fiction titles.

  • This magnification device available for use in the library allows printed material to be enlarged onto an adjacent monitor. Material can be viewed in full color, or you can select your own foreground and background display colors to make viewing easier.

  • A walker is located near the front door to aid library users who may need assistance getting around the library. Our building is accessible to anyone with physical disabilities.
