Summer Reading Programs for all ages!

READ TO ME (Ages 0-5)
Children 5 and under who are not yet reading on their own can participate with their parents by completing a log sheet to earn prizes. They may fill in a circle for every book that is read to them and redeem 25 for a ticket to the Summer Reading Pool Party. Additional prizes will be available for reading 50, 75, and 100 books.

CHILDREN (Grades K-6)
School-aged children can use a bookmark log to record their reading and earn prizes when they meet their reading goals. Completing their first goal will earn them a ticket to the Summer Reading Pool Party. Readers who meet at least 4 goals will earn entries into our prize basket raffle drawings.

TEENS (Grades 7-12)
Teens can use bookmark logs to record their reading and earn prizes when they meet their reading goals. Completing their first goal will earn them a ticket to the Summer Reading Pool Party. Readers who meet at least 3 goals earn raffle tickets a grand prize. Additional raffle tickets can be earned for attending programs, volunteering, and more.

ADULTS
Adults can track their reading time using a bookmark log. Each bookmark equals 5 hours of reading time. Every bookmark an adult turns in is an entry to that week’s drawing for a $25 gift card. There will be an adults-only party after hours in the library at the end of the summer for all adults who turn in one completed bookmark. Audiobooks, ebooks, magazines, and reading to children all count towards adult reading time.
